What we collect, what we don't.

BenefitsLedger is built on public data. The audits we publish are derived from Form 5500 filings the U.S. Department of Labor publishes publicly — we don't collect anything sensitive about your company that isn't already public record.

When you ask us to email you the full PDF of an audit, we collect your name, email, and role. That's it. We don't sell your email. You can unsubscribe from any email we send with one click.

• Public Form 5500 data. Released by the DOL through EFAST2. Already public record.
• Email + name + role when you submit the “Send me the full PDF” form on an audit page.
• Visit telemetry — basic page-view information (which audit was viewed, referring page, approximate region by IP).
• Standard server logs — IP address, user agent, timestamp. Retained 30 days.

• Anything from your private network or systems.
• Health information, claims data, or PHI.
• Your Social Security Number, payroll, or banking data.
• Behavioral profiling beyond the basic visit telemetry above. We don't run cross-site advertising trackers.

• To send the requested audit PDF and follow up if you ask.
• To improve the audit (which factors land, which don't).
• To route a connection to a partner specialist if you book a call — only when you click that button.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties for advertising. The infrastructure providers we use process the data on our behalf under standard data-processing agreements.

• Unsubscribe from any email we send with one click.
• Delete your data — email us at the address below and we'll remove it within 30 days.
• Access — request a copy of what we have about you.

BenefitsLedger is a B2B research site. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, when material, notify people who've given us their email.
